I am finishing up my BSc in Business Administration major at Brigham Young University - Idaho, via their online program. I have been living in Mexico for nine years with my wife and kids, and have learned the Spanish language while there, and to a smaller extent Portuguese and German. I enjoy working with people from different cultural backgrounds. I have six years of experience as an English teacher, having obtained multiple certifications in teaching the language during this time period. I have extensive experience in preparing people for multiple examinations such as the Cambridge KET, PET, FCE, and CAE, as well as the TOEFL (PBT and iBT) administered by the Princeton Review. In addition, I have experience teaching Business English to people wishing to learn the language to get ahead in their jobs and improve their resumés / curricula vitae, from the Beginner level through the Proficient level. My hobbies are reading books (I am a big fan of history as well as science fiction), learning languages (fluent in English and Spanish, conversational in Portuguese, low-intermediate in German), and astronomy. I am also a big fan of learning about the cuisine of different cultures. My aim in every class is to develop a special connection with each of my students and tailor the classes according to the student's needs, while keeping with the procedures established. My aim is to inspire students in every way imaginable.
