I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature. Recently, I obtained a TESOL certificate. I have 4 years of experience in teaching English as a second language to children and adults. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing tennis, swimming, listening to music, watching movies and making insulated outdoor cat shelters. I'm a huge animal person! I became an ESL teacher because I like to share my knowledge with other people and I like building caring relationships with the students, but it also allows me to learn more about different cultures and places. I’m enthusiastic, dedicated to creating an enjoyable, inviting, and dynamic learning atmosphere. I have a lot of patience and I’m able to recognize an individual student’s pace. I really appreciate it when students give me their feedback because teachers can improve from it. And I think that makes for a good tutor, being focused on students' progress and improvement, but also on their self-development.
